Hyde Syte Tactics – Terms and Conditions1. Payment and Cancellation Policies
- Up-Front Payment: 100% of the course tuition is collected at registration to secure logistical arrangements.
- Cancellations Over 24 Hours: Cancellations made more than 24 hours before class receive credit for a future course.
- Rescheduling: Email info@hydesytetactics.com or call the store to reschedule your session.
- Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations within 24 hours of the course or failure to attend result in forfeiture of all fees. No refunds will be issued.
- Low Enrollment Cancellations: If a class is canceled due to low participation, you will be contacted with alternate dates. You can choose a full refund or apply the fee to another class.
- Emergency Cancellations: Hyde Syte, LLC reserves the right to cancel programs with reasonable notice, or with no notice due to emergencies.
- Travel Liability Limitation: Hyde Syte, LLC is not financially or legally responsible for student travel expenses. This includes airfare penalties, lodging, food, rental cars, or lost wages due to cancellations.
2. Product Purchases and Return Policy
- Age Restrictions: You must be at least 18 years old to purchase long guns or ammunition, and at least 21 years old to purchase handguns, in compliance with federal and Wisconsin state laws. Course participants must meet the minimum age required for the specific firearm utilized in that course.
- User Liability: Purchasers warrant they have the proper training, certifications, and authorization to use purchased products. The buyer assumes all liability and holds Hyde Syte, LLC harmless from civil or criminal claims.
- Firearm Sales: All firearms must be purchased in-store. Proper background checks and paperwork must be completed before the sale is finalized.
- FFL Services: Hyde Syte, LLC provides Federal Firearms License (FFL) transfer services for a fee of $35.00.
- Legal Compliance: Buyers are solely responsible for knowing and following all federal, state, and local laws regarding firearm purchase, possession, and ownership.
- Standard Returns: Unused items in original packaging may be returned within 30 days for a refund, exchange, or store credit. A valid store receipt or invoice is required. Processing takes up to 2 weeks.
- Restocking Fees: Unopened items are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Used, opened, or damaged items face a 25% restocking fee or rejection.
- Strict Final Sale Items: No refunds, returns, or exchanges are permitted for firearms, apparel, hats, custom products, used items, sale items, or special orders.
- Shipping and Insurance: The customer is fully responsible for all return shipping charges. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance. Hyde Syte, LLC does not guarantee that we will receive your returned item and is not liable for items lost or damaged in transit.
3. Privacy Policy
- Data Collection: We collect personal information (name, email, phone number, and billing details) strictly to process orders and course registrations.
- Data Security: Your information is stored securely and is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties, except as required by law for firearm background checks.
- Communication: By providing your contact information, you consent to receive critical course updates and operational communications. You may opt out of promotional emails at any time.
4. Media Release
- Consent to Use: By participating in our training courses, you grant Hyde Syte, LLC permission to take photographs or video recordings during class activities.
- Marketing and Promotion: You agree that Hyde Syte, LLC may use these images and videos for promotional materials, website content, social media, and marketing without compensation or further approval.
- Opt-Out: If you wish to opt out of media coverage for privacy or professional reasons, you must notify the instructor in writing prior to the start of the course.
5. Liability Waivers and Governing Law
- Mandatory Signing: All participants must sign and witness a liability waiver before the start of any course.
- Governing Law: These terms, conditions, and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions must be filed in the appropriate court within the State of Wisconsin.
