At the core of our organization is an elite cadre of instructors who bring real-world tactical, military, and emergency medical experience directly to our clients. Our team is comprised of seasoned Special Forces Green Berets, U.S. Army Airborne Rangers, SWAT Operators, K9 Handlers, and active-duty Infantry Leaders who have operated and led missions in high-stakes environments around the globe.

Special Forces Veteran | Retired Law Enforcement Sergeant | Tactical Instructor

Trevor brings an unparalleled depth of expertise derived from nearly three decades of elite military service and municipal law enforcement. Having lived across rural, suburban, and urban communities, he possesses a well-rounded perspective that enhances his leadership and training capabilities.

Trevor began his distinguished military career with the U.S. Army Airborne Rangers before being selected as a Green Beret, Special Forces Weapons Sergeant. He recently retired with nearly 30 years of service as a Special Forces Operations Team Sergeant. A veteran of multiple global deployments, his decorations include two Bronze Stars, the Combat Infantry Badge, and numerous campaign medals.

Parallel to his military career, Trevor served 26 years in law enforcement with a large municipal agency, spending 17 of those years full-time with the SWAT Team. He retired with honors as a Sergeant. His law enforcement career is marked by extraordinary valor, having earned two Medals of Valor for Combat, two Medals of Valor for Rescue, multiple Life Saving awards, the Superior Service Achievement Award, and the American Red Cross Brave Hearts Award.

An educator at heart, Trevor holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and serves as a Criminal Justice Instructor at the County College level.

Benjamin Kessel, MS, PA-C | Associate Medical Director | Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant

Ben has spent over 25 years in emergency medical services, beginning with his early exposure to operational medicine during active-duty military service. His vast experience across sports medicine, emergency department critical care, and tactical EMS shapes his unique approach to teaching prehospital medicine.

• Clinical Expertise: Over two decades of patient care ranging from field EMS to emergency department critical care.
• Academic Foundation: Holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice, a B.S. in Kinesiology (Athletic Training/Sports Medicine), and a B.A. in English (Minor in Philosophy).
• Board-Certified Specialty: Recognized in 2011 among the first Physician Assistants in the U.S. to achieve specialty board certification in Emergency Medicine.
• U.S. Navy Veteran: Deployed to the Persian Gulf with the United States Navy.
